Built for paid communities

Everything you need to sell premium Discord access.

Paid channels

Charge members for premium rooms.

Create private channels for VIP content, education, signals, analysis, coaching, or community membership.

  • Paid channels with individual prices
  • Automatic role grants and removals
  • Members keep access only while subscribed
Stripe powered

Subscriptions and tips without custom billing.

StudioGro uses Stripe Checkout for payments and Stripe Connect for routing payouts while retaining your platform percentage.

  • Recurring monthly subscriptions
  • Member tips through checkout links
  • Billing portal for subscription management

Revenue model

Only pay when your community earns.

Platform fee 10%

StudioGro is free to install. When members subscribe or tip, StudioGro keeps its platform percentage and Stripe Connect routes the rest to the server owner's payout account.

Launch workflow

Getting started with StudioGro.

01

Invite StudioGro and configure your server.

Add StudioGro to your Discord server with permission to manage roles, manage channels, and register slash commands. Then set your server as a single creator community. StudioGro applies the platform fee set by the StudioGro owner.

Server-owned content

Best when your Discord sells access to its own premium channels.

Automatic access

StudioGro grants or removes roles based on subscription status.

02

Connect Stripe and start accepting payments.

StudioGro uses Stripe for subscriptions, tips, and payouts. The server owner completes Stripe onboarding, then StudioGro can route payments while retaining the StudioGro platform percentage.

Example split

Member pays $10. StudioGro keeps its platform fee and the remaining balance is routed to the server owner's Stripe payout account before Stripe fees.

03

Create paid channels for your content.

Create the private Discord channel and matching subscriber role first, then connect them to a monthly price in StudioGro. The monthly_amount value is in cents, so 1000 means $10 per month. Repeat this setup for every paid channel you want members to subscribe to.

Discord setup

Create a private channel like #premium and a role like @Premium.

StudioGro setup

Run the setup command once per paid channel and role pair.

/setup-paid-channel channel:#premium access_role:@Premium monthly_amount:1000 name:Premium
04

Members subscribe and keep access while active.

Members subscribe from Discord, pay with Stripe Checkout, and receive the right role automatically. If a subscription ends or fails, StudioGro removes the role and access stops.

Billing portal

Members can use Stripe's billing portal to update their card, view billing details, manage subscriptions, or cancel anytime.

/subscribe channel:#premium /billing-portal
05

Add a subscriber guide to your server.

Create a public info channel such as #how-to-subscribe or #premium-info so members know how to join, pay, and manage their own subscriptions. Pin the instructions so new members can find them anytime.

Suggested channel message

To subscribe, run /subscribe channel:#premium. After payment, StudioGro will unlock the premium channel automatically. To update your card, view billing details, or cancel, run /billing-portal.

/subscribe channel:#premium /billing-portal
